Fees & Appointments
I offer individual therapy for adults of all ages. My fee is $240 per 50-minute session.
I offer sessions on a weekly or fortnightly basis, and will offer you a regular ongoing appointment time.
Frequency of sessions is important to the therapeutic process. Therefore, I do not offer less frequent sessions, unless when appropriate for longer-term patients. There is also the option of attending multiple times a week for those who require more support or wish to engage in deeper psychoanalytic work.
Our work together will begin with an initial assessment period (usually between 2-4 sessions) for us to determine the best way forward
Appointments are at my office in Silverton Place, Spring Hill or via telehealth by request.
Availability
I currently see patients on Tuesdays and Fridays
Referrals
You do not need a referral or formal diagnosis to attend therapy. Self-referrals are welcome – simply contact me to book an initial consultation.
Rebates
Medicare rebates for psychological treatment are available for up to 10 sessions per calendar year (the Medicare rebate is $141.85 per session, making the out-of-pocket cost $98.15 per session). If you wish to receive Medicare rebates for treatment, you will need to be referred by your General Practitioner or Psychiatrist using a Mental Health Treatment Plan. You can also claim private rebates with your insurer if you have coverage for psychology under your policy.
